The Futaba 6EXAP_c8 is a six-channel transmitter kit supplied with an R136HP receiver and four S3003 servos, aimed at both fixed-wing and helicopter model applications. The control architecture is built around easy access to trimming functions, channel mapping and common flight features such as dual rates, flap control, retractable gear and an instructor trainer facility.

Intended as an accessory for model aircraft, the following notes summarise the controls used for installation, initial setup and in-field trimming, and clarify which receiver channels typically correspond to standard model functions.

• Dual-rate switch: Changes between two preset travel values for aileron, elevator and rudder; exponential settings may shift with the chosen rate if programmed.
• Flap control dial (Channel 6): An analog dial assigned to channel 6 for incremental flap positioning on equipped models.
• Aileron/elevator and throttle/rudder sticks: The primary sticks for surface and throttle control, each fitted with trim levers for neutral adjustment.
• Throttle-cut button: Provides an engine stop function by cutting the throttle link when the model is set up to respond to this control.
• Retractable gear switch (Channel 5): A dedicated switch mapped to channel 5 for landing gear extension and retraction.
• Trainer switch: Enables trainer modes when connected to a second transmitter using the trainer lead.
• Data input lever, MODE and SELECT keys: Menu and parameter navigation controls displayed on the LCD screen.
• Charging jack and on-off switch: The charging connector for the included charger and the main power on/off control.
