Compact 6-Channel Helicopter Control Package

The Futaba Futaba6EXH6-ChannelEP is supplied as a compact control package for electric (EP) model helicopters. It pairs the Futaba 6EXH transmitter with an R146iP PCM mini receiver plus four small Elf Hobby servos and an Elf Hobby Gyro 240 to provide a standard 6-channel control arrangement for light airframes.

The kit is intended for hobbyists who want a complete transmitter/receiver core to install, bind and tune collective pitch or CCPM cyclic systems. Components included cover primary control, four servos for cyclic/collective functions, and a gyro for tail or basic stabilization depending on wiring choices.

Included items

  • 1 pcs Transmitter 6EXH-PCM

This package delivers the radio, receiver, servos and a simple gyro needed to run a small electric helicopter on a 6-channel PCM system. Always verify servo geometry, travel settings and gyro orientation during bench checks before first flight.

Standard contents are one Futaba 6EXH transmitter (6EXH-PCM), one R146iP PCM mini receiver, four Elf Hobby 9g servos for control surfaces and one Elf Hobby Gyro 240 for stabilization roles.
Select 35MHz, 40MHz or 72MHz according to local radio frequency rules and availability. Pick Mode 1 or Mode 2 based on your preferred throttle/stick arrangement and flying habits.
For light EP helicopters the Elf Hobby 9g servos provide adequate torque for many cyclic and tail applications. The Elf Hobby Gyro 240 can be applied for tail control or basic flight stability when configured to match your tail geometry.
Before flight, check that the receiver frequency is legal locally, set servo endpoints and subtrim correctly for your mixing, and verify gyro direction and mode through bench testing to ensure proper tail response.
