The Futaba MC401CR Electronic Speed Controller delivers linear forward, reverse and brake functions for motors rated at 10 turns and above, providing predictable throttle and stopping behavior for club and contest use.

The unit uses SMD MOSFETs to cut internal resistance and improve efficiency, which keeps temperatures down during extended operation. Link the ESC to a Futaba CIU-2 to capture current and voltage logs for more informed setup changes.

Safety Layers and Adjustable Parameters

The MC401CR includes heat and low voltage protection and a range of configurable options such as PWM frequency from 100Hz to 10kHz. The current limiter is adjustable from 50A to 300A to help manage stress on the powertrain.

Brake Control and Tuning Options

Brake mix can be set between 0% and 100% so you can tune braking strength to suit driving style and course conditions. Neutral brake adjustment helps refine idle braking for smoother manoeuvres.
