Equipped with nylon gears to keep operation quiet and consistent, the S3003 achieves 0.23 sec/60 degrees at 4.8V and 0.19 sec/60 degrees at 6V. Torque figures are 44 oz-in (3.2 kg-cm) at 4.8V and 57 oz-in (4.1 kg-cm) at 6V, and the servo measures 40 x 20 x 36mm for compact installations.

Pair the S3003 with a quality receiver and a BEC or regulator that can supply steady 4.8-6V under stall current; this keeps response crisp and avoids brownouts.
At 37g the S3003 is light for a standard servo, so its impact on balance is minimal; factor the weight in when replacing heavier metal-geared servos to maintain trim.
Some experienced hobbyists replace internal gears, but this requires care and spare parts; for most users replacing the whole servo is simpler and more reliable.
The servo comes with a J type connector and an approximate 5" lead, suitable for most chassis layouts but check routing before final installation.
