The form factor is common for 1/4 scale servos, but always check your model's mounting pattern and horn fit before fitting to ensure correct linkage geometry.
Its speed and torque suit ailerons, flaps and steering duties on larger models. For extremely heavy control loads consider a specific high-torque alternative.
With correct installation, reasonable loads and basic maintenance such as keeping debris out of the case, the metal gears should give extended service compared to plastic gear servos.
The S5302 has dust and water resistance, but for regular exposure to water or immersion, add extra waterproofing or choose a fully waterproof unit to be safe.
