The Futaba S9602 is a compact, high-speed servo created for radio-controlled aircraft that demand quicker movement and reliable centring. It comes pre-wired with a J-style lead for plug-in use with compatible receivers.
The servo uses a coreless motor paired to metal gears and a dual ball bearing output shaft to improve feel and repeatability compared with economy micro servos. The black plastic housing offers water resistance but should not be treated as waterproof.
Power consumption can spike during sustained, high-load manoeuvres. If you plan to use NiMH or LiPo packs, ensure your battery pack and any BEC or regulator are capable of delivering the short current peaks without significant voltage drop.
Fit the S9602 using normal micro servo mounting holes. The accessory packet includes grommets and brass bushings for vibration isolation, plus screws and a range of horns to suit standard horn patterns. When trimming gliders or sailplanes, make small throw adjustments and verify neutral and end points on the bench before flight testing.
Replacement case is listed as FUTM3065 and separate mounting hardware is sold as FUTM2350; always bench-check any installation prior to flying operations.
