Adapter for joining ZX deck and Z-series case

This machined aluminium adapter is an RC-scale spare part intended to join a Z-series gear case with a ZX graphite upper deck when that deck is fitted to a Z-series chassis. It acts as a mechanical interface to align bolt patterns and preserve the designed stack height between the gear case and upper deck without changing the drivetrain geometry.

Manufactured from machined aluminium, the adapter supplies a firm mounting surface and supports repeatable alignment during rebuilds or setup changes. It is supplied as a mounting component and is not a performance upgrade that alters handling.

Fitment advice: insert the adapter between the gear case and upper deck, line up the existing bolt holes, and use the original fasteners from the deck or case to secure it. Visually confirm alignment before final tightening to prevent drivetrain binding.

It ensures correct bolt alignment and the required spacing between the ZX upper deck and the Z-series gear case so the two parts assemble securely without upsetting gear alignment.
Partially tighten all screws first, check that the deck and case sit flat with no twist, then progressively torque the fasteners to the correct tightness to avoid binding the drivetrain.
