Adjustable Main Drive Shafts Compatible with R1

This adjustable front and rear main drive shaft set is supplied as a two-piece kit for the GMADE R1 Rock Buggy, using 6061-T6 aluminium for the shaft bodies and steel for the fasteners to balance lightness with strength for scale drivetrain use.

The lighter aluminium shaft bodies reduce rotating mass in comparison to all-steel shafts, which can ease load on battery-powered systems while preserving driveline alignment. Steel wire rings are fitted to retain screws and prevent loss of fasteners during hard use.

Length adjustment covers the required chassis spacing: front shaft 122mm to 132mm and rear shaft 105mm to 115mm. The supplied O-rings and screws allow fitting without sourcing additional small parts.

When installing, make sure wire rings and M4 screws are properly seated and torqued to remove axial play, and check the driveline runs freely after assembly to avoid binding issues at outputs or axle cups.

Suitable as a lighter-weight, adjustable-length drivetrain option for the R1; inspect retaining rings and O-rings periodically to maintain reliable operation.
