The GT048 steering assembly is a 14-piece aftermarket kit designed for TRAXXAS GT4 TEC 2.0 cars to reduce loose steering and improve mechanical engagement at the linkage points. Machined Aluminium 6061 T6 parts are combined with Delrin collars to maintain tight tolerances while keeping sliding friction low.

Focus is on the steering train: shims and collars control end float and lateral movement, while the aluminium components replace softer plastic items to produce firmer, more consistent steering inputs. This solution improves mechanical feel without needing changes to servos or ESC settings.
