This aftermarket kit supplies pendulum-style wheel weights together with a 21mm hex adapter for Axial SCX10 platforms. The layout concentrates additional mass at the wheel to improve tyre contact during slow-speed crawling and to aid recovery from uneven obstacles.
The adjustable mass element comprises stainless steel rolling beads that move inside the pendulum housing, providing a dynamic ballast effect. The unit fits to the outer face of the wheel knuckle (front and rear outer case) so weight is kept low and adjacent to the wheel for better traction on loose ground.
Technical notes state an adjustable stack of up to eight stainless beads at 4g apiece, producing approximately 44 to 64 grams per wheel when fully populated. Stainless construction helps resist corrosion on wet or muddy runs, and the 21mm hex adapter increases hub spacing compared with the stock specification to support wider wheel choices.
