This precision aluminium motor heat sink is created for the TRAXXAS TRX4 TRAIL CRAWLER platform to help control motor temperature during slow, technical driving. The fin-style profile increases exposed area to aid heat dissipation while leaving the motor internals unchanged.

Manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminium, the part resists flex and provides a secure mounting plane to assist motor alignment under load. The contents include stainless steel flat head screws 3x8, 2 pcs for fastening to the motor or motor housing consistent with the platform design.

In practical tuning terms, installing a dedicated heat sink lowers thermal build-up during extended low-speed operation and supports steadier motor output on demanding sections.
