Upgraded CVDs for Robust X-MAXX 6S Drivetrains

This 16-piece replacement set is an aftermarket constant velocity drive assembly for Traxxas Xmaxx 6S. The main drive elements are constructed from hardened steel #45 and the dogbones are enlarged from 5.5mm to 7mm to better resist bending and wear under 6S torque. The CVD-to-hex connection employs a perforated interface secured by a stainless pin to keep the alloy hex stable during heavy load cycles.

The kit ships with the installation hardware required: four hex adapters, four stainless steel screw shafts M5x4x20, and four set screws 5x5, cross-referenced to manual numbers 7750, 7737, and 7756. These parts are intended to provide improved wheel rotation consistency and longer service life than stock components in high-power configurations.

For tuning and servicing this set replaces softer factory parts with hardened steel to reduce deformation at high RPM and preserve wheel tracking during aggressive use. The pinned alloy hex aims to cut slop between the CVD and wheel hex when accelerating hard.
