Background and camouflage purpose

Produced in the 1970s, the Mitsubishi F-1 met Japan's need for a supersonic jet capable of strike and interception. The sea camouflage was tailored to maritime environments to reduce contrast when seen from above or sea level, matching the aircrafts intended mission set. The kit provides a scaled representation of that role.

Model construction and painting workload

This release includes two complete builds, ideal for experimenting with paint approaches or creating matched examples.
