Details of the SX tail blade holder

The HI0404542 is a tail blade holder designed for Hirobo SX-series rotorheads. It locates and secures the tail blade within the tail rotor assembly and is used as a service replacement across compatible Eagle, Freya and EX models.

To fit the holder, follow your airframe's maintenance procedure: access the tail hub or remove the tail rotor if required, locate the blade shaft using the holder and secure the mounting screws to the correct torque. Use the recommended hex tool and confirm that the blade swings freely through its range with the tail servo neutral before flight.

As part of a tuning routine the holder reduces lateral movement at the blade root, helping to preserve a consistent tail response. After installation recheck blade tracking and tail pitch linkage geometry, then perform a cautious hover test to confirm control authority.
