This RC-scale ball bearing kit is intended for routine helicopter maintenance and minor linkage pivots. The components match the HI2500070 code and are supplied as 2 open type bearings measuring 3 x 9 x 3 mm, appropriate where compact housings are used.

Typical roles include low-profile rotating support within rotor hubs, swash linkages, control arms and other small pivot points. Prior to fitting, verify the seating diameter and axial clearance on the hub or linkage to avoid binding, and inspect the mating bore for wear or deformation.

For correct installation, press the bearing evenly into the host bore using a soft drift or a bearing driver that contacts the outer race; avoid applying force to the inner race. Confirm free rotation after seating. Light rotary oil can be applied sparingly to open bearings when contamination risk is low; otherwise schedule routine cleaning and re-lubrication.
