Hobby Boss 1/32 F-84E Thunderjet static modelling kit

This 1/32 scale static plastic kit portrays the F-84E Thunderjet as a display-orientated model, highlighting accurate external form and a cockpit with concentrated detail for advanced modellers and collectors.

The Republic Aviation F-84E Thunderjet was developed as a single-seat turbojet fighter-bomber for the United States Air Force in the immediate post-war period. First flown in 1946, the E model incorporated structural and systems improvements that increased range and payload; it served through the Korean War period and remained in reserve and allied service through the 1950s.

Kit specifications reflect the manufacturer's published details. The layout features separately moulded left and right fuselage halves with engraved surface and panel detail. Cockpit and undercarriage bays are modelled with targeted internal detail. Newly tooled wings match the correct planform and allow optional flap positions. Landing gear struts are supplied in alternate materials, and the kit includes one photo-etched piece for fine seat belt work. Two historically informed paint schemes are supplied for marking choices. Exact part counts, sprue layout and external dimensions are provided below.

Metal undercarriage parts are designed as alternatives to the plastic items and should fit without major modification; light filing or test-fitting may be needed for optimal alignment.
