This aftermarket front shock tower is intended for use on HPI Baja series vehicles as a replacement for the standard plastic tower. It is machined from aluminium alloy to give a stiffer shock-top mounting point versus original plastic parts.
The tower locates the upper ends of the front shocks and affects suspension geometry and preload response. As an upgrade it reduces flex around the shock tops, helping to retain consistent damper angles during heavy compressions and rebounds on rough surfaces.
Fitting is usually simple on compatible HPI Baja chassis that share the factory mount pattern. The part normally uses your existing mounting points and hardware, though you should check hole alignment and thread engagement before final torque and confirm clearance to steering components.
Use this tower when replacing damaged hardware or when a stiffer shock-top mounting is required for more consistent front-end tuning on HPI Baja rigs.
