Adjustable steering links kit for Bullet 3.0

This adjustable front and rear tie rod set is intended for HPI Bullet 3.0 MT and ST chassis and carries the model number BMT160A/ST. The assembly combines spring steel rods with alloy end fittings and 4mm anti cross-thread connections, and is supplied as a 6 piece set to replace factory links on both axles.

Users can tune toe and steering geometry via length adjustment across two ranges: 73-80mm and 78-85mm. Adjustment uses threaded alloy ends designed to resist cross-threading on the 4mm joints.

Fitment requires removing the stock tie rods and securing the alloy ends to the steering knuckles and hub carriers, then adjusting link length to achieve the required alignment. After setup, cycle the steering and suspension through their full travel to confirm there is no binding.

These tie rods are a linkage upgrade for handling and maintenance, suitable for replacing worn or bent links and for small setup changes without altering servo, ESC, motor, or gearbox hardware.

Yes, they suit stock and many modified Bullet 3.0 MT and ST setups provided the measured link lengths fall within the listed ranges.
Adjust each tie rod length incrementally, centre the steering servo, and recheck steering angle and tyre alignment until desired toe-in or toe-out is achieved.
Inspect threaded ends for wear, keep threads clean and lightly lubricated, and replace alloy end fittings if they show stripping to maintain secure adjustment.
