Precision Steering Knuckles for Bullet FLUX

This orange anodised alloy steering assembly is built for the HPI Bullet FLUX chassis to replace the original plastic steering components. Bearings are fitted to reduce play at the pivot points and deliver a more consistent steering input. It is offered as a chassis-level upgrade that enhances steering accuracy without affecting drivetrain power.

How to fit

• Verify the steering mounts on the Bullet FLUX MT or ST and remove the stock knuckles; fit the alloy parts into the original positions on the chassis.
• Use existing compatible fasteners where they do not interfere with bearing fit; check servo horn and tie-rod clearance before final tightening.
• Centre the steering after installation and reconfirm toe and free travel to ensure reliable steering behavior.

Role in vehicle setup

• Alloy knuckles with bearings reduce angular play, improving repeatability for setup work and repeatable lap-to-lap steering feel.
• Combine this upgrade with considered linkage geometry and servo adjustments to achieve the preferred compromise between agility and stability.
