The BUL-18009-OR rear hub carrier is an aluminium replacement designed to match HPI Bullet wheel and suspension arrangements on BULLET 3.0 MT and ST models. Replacing the plastic carrier, it provides a firmer mounting point at the rear hub while preserving chassis geometry.
Material and role: finished in orange alloy, the carrier positions the wheel hub and transfers suspension loads. Its greater stiffness modifies rear compliance and feedback through the suspension under acceleration, braking and cornering; anticipate a modest change to handling characteristics compared with the original parts.
Installation notes: the carrier uses the same mounting location and hardware as the original rear carrier for the Bullet 3.0. During assembly verify correct bearing seating and wheel-hex alignment with the driveshaft, torque screws to the vehicle's recommended settings, and check the hub for free rotation after fitting.
Tuning considerations: alloy carriers reduce local flex and can influence camber/toe behavior during heavy inputs. Incorporate standard suspension setup adjustments — shock preload, arm angles, and bearing check — to fine-tune balance after installation.
