Precision steering and support links

This spring steel tie rod set is intended for the HPI Racing SAVAGE XL FLUX platform and is supplied as a pair for front steering and rear support applications. Constructed from spring steel, the links act as direct replacements where stock plastic or softer metal links have worn, and they are useful for achieving a firmer steering characteristic during setup work.

Installation follows standard link replacement steps: remove the existing tie rods from steering knuckles and drag links, fit the spring steel replacements, and secure with the included hardware. Confirm proper thread engagement, avoid over-torquing, and centre the steering before final tightening to ensure correct alignment.

Spring steel links reduce elastic deflection compared with typical links, giving a crisper steering response and altered chassis feedback. After fitting, perform short test runs and adjust suspension or steering geometry if the handling balance needs tuning.
