This fin-pattern engine heatsink is a scale RC accessory intended for use with HPI Savage 21, Savage 25 and Savage X 13 engine heads. It acts as a passive cooling aid by increasing the exposed head surface area to assist heat rejection while the engine runs. This component is for model use only and is not suitable for real vehicle applications.

Fitment is straightforward for those familiar with nitro engines: remove the existing glow or cooling head, confirm thread and clearance, then slide the heatsink into place ensuring there is no contact with the carburettor, exhaust manifold or surrounding chassis parts. Verify rotating clearance by hand prior to the first run and inspect again after the initial heat cycle.
