This 8x77mm RC dog bone is supplied as 1 pcs for Savage X series drivetrains. Model HPI-86151 is finished in silver and is engineered to carry torque between gearbox output and axle hub while permitting suspension articulation essential for off-road performance.
Use this replacement when the original dog bone is bent or shows wear, or when establishing correct drivetrain geometry during setup. Prior to fitting, verify the 8x77mm length and that the dog bone mates cleanly with the output cup and axle hub on your Savage X parts.
Fitment notes: remove the wheel and lower the suspension to access each end, inspect mating cups and pins for wear, and confirm full rotational freedom through suspension travel after installation. Carry out a low-load check run before returning to normal use.
