Alloy differential lock for Savage range

This alloy differential lock is an RC drivetrain component for HPI Savage platforms, covering Savage, Savage X and Savage K4.6. It replaces the stock differential internals to give a firmer engagement characteristic useful when tuning traction and load transfer on varied terrain.

Installation is aimed at Savage models and follows normal diff replacement routines: insert the unit into the existing diff housing and secure using the original mounting points. Confirm correct spur and pinion mesh and verify there is no interference through the suspension travel before completing assembly.

As a tuning item this diff lock helps reduce unwanted differential slip under acceleration and braking, making throttle response and weight transfer more predictable on both loose and grippy surfaces. It works best when matched with appropriate gearing and damper settings.
