The ADP055 is a 55mm plastic ball-top damper cap for HPI Sprint touring models, supplied as a pair with a 1.5mm coil spring, washers and mounting screws. It is an aftermarket cap and spring assembly intended to replace original-style ball-top top caps.

As a cap and spring assembly rather than an oil-filled shock, this part provides consistent spring preload and a straightforward pivot interface for ball-end top mounts. It is appropriate where the 55mm length fits the stock geometry and where a plastic cap is acceptable for weight and cost considerations.

Installation guidance: remove bodywork and wheels as needed, remove the existing cap and spring assembly, fit the ADP055 components, tighten supplied screws and confirm free movement at the ball joint. Use thread-lock on metal fasteners if called for by your chassis documentation.
