The HUDY 101506 Executive Automatic Comm Lathe is designed to deliver consistent commutator resurfacing for slot car engines. Using a middle shaft belt drive and ultra-hardened steel "V" guides, the machine keeps armature rotation steady and reduces vibration, while the black hard-anodized finish protects key surfaces.

Precision Controls and Smooth Operation

Built for focused hobby use, the HUDY 101506 rotates the armature through a central belt system to achieve smooth, chatter-free cuts. Ultra-fine-pitch lead screws allow incremental tool shifts, and the adjustable backstop screw with its small purple wheel lets you fine tune automatic cutting speed. Each lathe features an engraved unique ID for identification.

What Is Included and Tooling Advice

The HUDY 101506 is supplied with the main motor pre-installed and a 12VDC power connection, plus gearbox, electronics, switch and connection cable so you can get straight to work. Also included are a carrying case, anti-vibration pads, drive belts, shims to set tool height and a motor anti-vibration washer. Cutting tools are not part of the package; the #101081 Diamond Cutting Tool is recommended for best surface quality.
