Clean Shock Bleeding For Consistent Setup

The HUDY 104002 AIR VAC is a compact workshop tool for owners of on-road 1/8, 1/10 and 1/12 RC cars. It evacuates air from oil-filled shocks and differentials so suspension behavior is more repeatable and reliable.

Stable CNC Aluminium Platform

The HUDY AIR VAC sits on a CNC-machined aluminium platform that provides a rigid, durable base. It comes with interchangeable holders for shock bodies and diffs and a transparent plastic cover for visual control. The pump can also be used to help additives soak into foam tyres by drawing the liquid into the tyre structure.

Portable Power And Complete Kit

The unit accepts either a 12V power supply or a 7.2V battery (battery not included) and uses a strong vacuum pump motor. The kit includes component holders and a 600mm cable with gold-plated banana plugs, all supplied in a protective hard case for neat storage and transport.

Can it handle different shock oils?

It works with standard oil-filled shock assemblies. When switching oils, clean shocks thoroughly before using the pump to avoid cross-contamination.

Do I need special tools to use it?

No specialist tools are required beyond the pump and the included holders. A set of basic hobby tools helps with disassembly and reassembly when servicing shocks.
