The HUDY 104500 Start-Box is designed to provide dependable starts for 1/8 off-road vehicles and truggies while occupying minimal bench space. Its compact design helps it integrate cleanly into most pit setups.

Frame and Finishing

The unit is built from CNC-machined aluminium with a robust black finish on the housing and top plate. Countersunk fasteners keep the surface flat, and an ergonomic composite handle plus a rear cover make handling straightforward. Supplied taller plastic feet improve clearance for truggy models with higher chassis ride height.

Engine and Battery Support

Equipped with a 775-type motor and cooling fan, the HUDY 104500 accepts two standard 7.2V battery sticks or a 2S LiPo pack (batteries not included). The belt-driven system provides steady torque to the starter wheel for reliable engine engagement.

Practical Design Features

The starter wheel is designed for quick replacement with three screws and can be mounted on either side to suit different engines. An integrated switch, a quality wiring loom and a quick-change fast-on connector allow connection without soldering.
