Precision Tyre Seating for 1/8 Off-Road

The HUDY 105253 Octopus band is made to clamp 1/8 off-road tyres during adhesive cure, maintaining proper bead-to-wheel contact and preventing tyre distortion.

Its flexible form gives even radial pressure so the glue film sets uniformly, reducing high spots and gaps across the bead. The contour follows common tyre profiles to support a consistent seal.

To fit: mount the tyre on the rim, apply the adhesive, then pull the band over the tyre and ensure the bead and tread sit evenly. Do not remove the band until the adhesive has fully cured as directed by the adhesive manufacturer.

Since the pack contains four bands, you can prepare several tyres at once and keep prep uniform when swapping compounds or adjusting setup parameters.

Which wheel and tyre assemblies will this accept?

It is intended for standard 1/8 off-road tyre and wheel assemblies commonly used on 1/8 off-road RC models and will fit typical bead profiles used in that class.

Any special care after use?

Clean any residual adhesive from the band after curing to maintain its grip and shape. Avoid solvents that could degrade the material.

How many bands does the set include?

The product is supplied as a set of four bands, which is convenient for preparing multiple tyres in one workshop session.
