Motor-mounted dual fan bracket

This CNC-machined aluminium dual motor fan mount is a compact support bracket for up to two motor cooling fans used in RC models. It accepts 30mm and 40mm fans either individually or together to suit different cooling strategies and chassis restrictions.

The bracket aims to deliver focused airflow to the motor without excessive bulk. Non-load areas are reduced in thickness to aid installation in tight drivetrain or chassis layouts, while attachment zones remain reinforced to secure the fans. The construction offers low weight and resistance to vibration so cooling remains consistent under harsh conditions.

During installation, align the fan apertures with the motor body and fasten through the fan mounting holes using suitable screws. This component is designed specifically for motor-mounted cooling and is a practical upgrade when managing motor temperature under prolonged or heavy use.

Are there any limits on fan combinations?

You can fit two fans of the same size or mix a 30mm with a 40mm unit. Consider space and airflow direction when choosing a combination.

No. Machined from 7075 T6 aluminium, the bracket keeps mass low while providing the stiffness needed for secure fan mounting.

Can this be used to help with high-temperature runs?
