Front Astro Turf Tyre Specification

This 1/10 front tyre is developed for astro turf use on 2WD off-road platforms and employs a medium compound to balance traction with durability. It is formulated to give predictable steering inputs and a controlled mid-corner release so handling feels uniform across runs.

Standard 1/10 tyre fitting applies: mount on compatible 1/10 rims, seat beads fully and use conventional tyre glue for reliable adhesion. Verify alignment and front-end geometry after mounting, because the compound and tread shape influence steering response and turn-in characteristics.

As a tuning component, the medium compound is a neutral choice; altering insert options, tyre preparation, and suspension setup will refine steering bias and corner exit behaviour.
