The Kyosho IGW057 rear lower suspension plate is intended for the INFERNO GT2 Type-R and provides a robust replacement for the original lower rear plate. Crafted from 7075 aluminium, it is aimed at improving long term resilience under demanding use.

Does the IGW057 require modding to fit?

For the INFERNO GT2 Type-R the plate is a direct replacement. Other models may need minor trimming or different fasteners to fit correctly.

Should I change maintenance with this alloy plate?

Check mounting points and threads periodically and clean grit from under the plate after hard sessions. Aluminium is tough but debris can accelerate wear in contact areas.

Will this affect rear grip characteristics?

A stiffer rear lower plate can alter chassis flex and therefore rear grip. Expect changes in handling and adjust suspension or tyre setup to find the desired balance.
