The Hornet is considered the many contemporary fighter/bomber operating to-day. As a result of freedom of its electronic devices it is able to run as an environment superiority fighter. Also in addition perform night bombing missions. The F/A-18 is operating utilising the U.S. Navy, the Marines including Australian, Canadian and Spanish Forces. Within many years this Aircraft has practically changed the aging F-4s, A-7s and F-104s. Through present Gulf War the F/A-18s travelled thousands of sorties against Iraq.
