Italeri has released UH-1D Slick Iroquois in 1/48 Scale Models assembly kit under Helicopter Aircrafts Military Series category
This robust helicopter was intoduced through the mid-fifties and might also function as understood rotor-blade aircraft world-wide. Reliability is its most readily useful feature. It proved made for the U.S. Army through Vietnam war. Lots of UH-ls may be found in solution as transportation, ambulance and attack aircraft. Licensed production in Italy, Germany and Japan ensure it is the main armed and authorities forces higher than fifty countries. Presently twin-engine variations (Italeri kit no. 847) are being produced. This helicopter may serve the following twenty years or even more.
