The Italeri 1302S 1/72 scale kit recreates the Short Sunderland Mk.I, a key RAF Coastal Command flying boat used for extended reconnaissance and convoy protection. The kit captures the distinctive hull, wing plan and the four Bristol Pegasus radial engines that powered long sorties.

First flown into service in 1938, the Sunderland Mk.I made a strong contribution to anti-submarine patrols, often deploying depth charges against U-boats during Atlantic convoys. Italeri has modelled the external features to allow a faithful static build for display cases or dioramas.
