The Italeri 1334S captures the Macchi MB-326K, a type which began life as a two-seat trainer and was later adapted into a single-seat ground attack machine. Originating in the 1950s, the design used the Bristol Siddley Viper engine and achieved widespread export success.
The MB-326K modelled by this kit featured an upgraded turbojet and a weapons capability up to roughly 1800 kg, including bombs, rocket launchers and guns. The parts provided allow builders to recreate these operational details faithfully at 1/72 scale.
