The Italeri 1374S brings together two notable World War I fighters: the British S.E.5a and the German Albatros D.III. Both aircraft were prominent during 1917 aerial operations over the Western Front. The Albatros D.III, flown by ace pilots including Manfred von Richthofen, the "Red Baron", could attain speeds near 175 km/h and used twin Spandau machine guns. The S.E.5a, deployed by the Royal Flying Corps, combined Vickers and Lewis weapons and was valued for its reliable handling and speed.
