Scale overview and background

The Kfir C.2 was produced by Israel Aircraft Industries as an upgraded multirole derivative of the Mirage III/5. With the General Electric J79 engine and revised avionics, it represented a step up from the IAI Nesher. Debuting in 1975, the type worked in fighter roles before reallocating to strike duties as newer fighters were introduced.
