The Dassault Mirage III established itself in the 1960s as a nimble interceptor with a delta wing and the Snecma Atar engine. Its combination of speed and straightforward systems made it a widely used platform during the Cold War era.

The Mirage IIIE variant shown in this kit features a stretched nose to carry more advanced electronics, a feature that set the IIIE apart operationally and led to numerous export variants in subsequent decades.

Italeri's 1/32 Mirage IIIE/R kit is produced from new moulds that capture the aircrafts distinctive profile and surface detail. The set includes super decals for six marking options so modellers can choose a period-correct finish or personalise the scheme.

The package also contains a colour instruction sheet and photo-etched parts to enhance fine elements such as cockpit fittings and exterior vents. Glue is required for assembly and a steady hand will reward builders with an accurate replica.
