The Italeri 2756S F7F-3 Tigercat provides modelmakers with a detailed kit to represent Grumman's heavy fighter from the closing stages of the Second World War. Though too late to serve in WWII, the Tigercat was later used in the early Korean War by US Navy and Marine Corps units.
This release captures the twin Pratt & Whitney radial engines and references the APS-6 radar fitted on night fighter variants, helping modellers portray the aircrafts operational role and external form accurately.
The box includes a super decal sheet with six historically inspired schemes, enabling builders to choose authentic squadron markings and recreate specific examples.
