The Italeri 2798S represents the Mig-23 MF/BN, a Mikoyan-Gurevich fighter notable for its variable swept wings and high-speed capability. The prototype was fitted with a Tumanskij afterburning turbojet and had performance up to approximately Mach 2.3. This kit aims to reflect the aircrafts external detail and characteristic lines for accurate modelling.
Included are decal sheets for six historically based versions and a colour instruction sheet that outlines assembly and paint sequences. The kit suits modellers building for display, museum-style cases, or scene-based dioramas focusing on Cold War aviation.
