Italeri 1/24 Lancia LC2: scale replica of the 1983 Le Mans entry

The Lancia LC2 was developed to contest World Sport Prototype races in the early 1980s, fitted with a Ferrari V8 twin-turbo engine prepared by Abarth. Italeri offers a kit that conveys the LC2s race-oriented aerodynamics and period significance, with ties to drivers such as Patrese, Alboreto and Nannini.

Display potential and modelling highlights

This 1/24 model emphasises the LC2s silhouette and provides parts that let skilled modellers produce a display-quality replica. It complements collections that highlight endurance racing history and classic prototype designs.

Specifications

  • Scale: 1/24
  • Material: Durable plastic components
  • Assembly: Glue required for assembly
  • Paint: Must be purchased separately
With careful preparation, masking and thin paint layers, you can achieve a museum-style finish. Attention to panel lines and decals will greatly improve the final appearance.
Spare parts may be obtained through the manufacturer or specialist hobby suppliers. Small repairs can also be managed with plastic cement and careful sanding.
The kit includes assembly instructions and a decal placement guide; paint references are usually provided but you should confirm colour codes and prepare paints separately.
