Born for late 1970s racing, the B.M.W. M1 Procar entered high profile support races and is remembered for its Group 4 competition form. Italeri's 1/24 model captures the car used in the 1979 and 1980 Procar series, highlighting the mid-engine configuration that defined its handling and look.
The kit reproduces race-specific items including a rear wing and flared over fenders in line with Group 4 modifications. The assembled model measures about 181mm overall, providing a compact but detailed display piece. The inline six engine is modelled with visible components and you can leave the rear engine hood open to show the engine bay.
The interior mirrors the race intent with a straightforward dashboard and roll cage style bar. Decals are provided to assist with accurate marking and livery recreation on completion.
