The Italeri 1/12 Fiat Mefistofele 21706 C.C kit recreates a milestone of early motorsport engineering. Designed for collectors who value authentic detail, the model pays tribute to the car that set a new land speed standard in the 1920s.
In July 1924 Ernest Eldridge drove the Mefistofele to 146.01 mph (over 230 km/h), securing a world land speed record. The roadgoing machine was fitted with an enormous aircraft-sourced inline six exceeding 20,000 cm3 in displacement. This kit replicates the prominent engine forms and the streamlined bodywork that defined the car's appearance.
Offering over 500 parts, the kit is intended for seasoned modellers prepared for a detailed construction process. It includes functional steering and an opening bonnet to showcase the engine. Finished, the model reaches 45 cm and comes with decals, transparent parts, screws and ropes for an authentic display finish.
