Italeri has released Medieval Era Templar Knights in 1/72 Scale Models assembly kit under Historic Soldiers Military Series category
The distribution of Knights Templar, a monastic and military purchase, would go to 1139 as an attempt to protect the pilgrims visiting the Holy Land following its conquest. The knights was indeed characterized by a Cistercian's white robe with a red cross. Many templars was in fact prepared as heavy cavalry and will be looked over a kind of elite troop linked to the times.
