This landing craft completed up used extensively by united states and British navies through the whole 2nd World War to move wheeled automobiles, lightweight armour and materials (weighing as much as 30 tons) from ship to coastline. Over 8000 LCM model 3 landing craft were produced, being included numerous shipyards in america from 1942 across the last results of conflict. It could afterwards be used by western allies from the usa across the 1980s.
