The Panzerkampfwagen I Ausf.B was developed as an evolution of earlier light tank designs, intended to train crews while conforming to interwar restrictions. Italeri's 1/35 kit recreates the compact silhouette and mechanical changes that defined the Ausf.B, a vehicle seen in the Spanish Civil War and the early campaigns in Poland and France. Its limited armor and armament reduced battlefield staying power, but the upgraded powertrain and track arrangement improved handling.

This release includes a single crew figure, delicate photo-etched components, and link-and-length tracks for authentic tread assembly. The decal choices cover four period-accurate schemes to suit different unit markings.
