The Opel Blitz medium vehicle was indeed utilized extensively by the German Army on all fronts during World War Two. Many of of those was in fact produced. They certainly were in addition used as platforms for anti-aircraft weaponry and tanker, workshop and ambulance versions was at fact made. Of sturdy construction and simple to maintain, it showcased good off road performance which made it priceless both in the Russian and African promotions.
