The Kyosho CLW005 AL Motor Mount is an RC-scale replacement part crafted for the KC10 chassis platform. Forged from machined aluminum for reliable clamping and thermal stability, this mount positions the motor with tighter tolerances than many factory plastic mounts, helping to preserve gear mesh and alignment under load.

Its intended application is restricted to KC10-series models; do not presume cross-compatibility with other chassis types or full-size vehicles. As a tuning component the mount provides a fixed surface for the motor to seat against, which can reduce the movement that disrupts spur and pinion engagement during hard acceleration or braking on road circuits.

Fitting the mount calls for removal of the motor assembly and careful setting of the spur-to-pinion mesh. Ensure there is adequate clearance around neighbouring parts such as the ESC and battery tray when installing this aluminium mount. Check fastener torque and alignment after initial runs to confirm everything remains secure.

Verify there is sufficient space around the ESC and battery tray and that the motor shaft does not contact nearby components through the range of rotation before sealing the mount hardware.
