KC10 Balance Accessories

The Kyosho CLW004 counterweight is an RC accessory supplied as two pieces manufactured to suit the KC10 chassis. It is intended for chassis balance adjustments on 1/10 electric touring models, enabling small axle load shifts that influence turn-in, mid-corner balance and traction while leaving suspension geometry intact.

Fitment is limited to KC10-marked mounting or ballast locations and uses the chassis' original attachment points. Installation is straightforward: place the counterweight in the permitted KC10 location and secure it with the supplied or factory fasteners to retain alignment. No changes to motor, ESC or gearbox are required.

When setting up the car the CLW004 should be used as a tuning aid rather than a direct performance upgrade. Fit one or both pieces to alter front-to-rear bias for different surfaces or driving preferences, then confirm handling effects before modifying suspension or tyre choices.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The CLW004 is specified for KC10 mounting locations and may not match the attachment points of other chassis designs, so compatibility is limited to KC10-style layouts.
Adopt a stepwise approach: fit one weight, test lap balance, then add the second if further front-to-rear bias is required. Compare handling before altering suspension or tyre selections.
